My Story, My Why
Licensed Clinical Social Worker · Trauma-Informed Consultant · Speaker · Supervisor
I didn’t come into this work because it sounded good on paper. I came into it because I know what it feels like to grow up carrying unspoken pain, invisible expectations, and the pressure to always push through.
As a first-generation Nigerian-American woman raised in the South, I learned early how to navigate multiple worlds—honoring my family’s legacy while trying to figure out who I was and where I belonged. That lived duality continues to shape how I show up in every space I work in: therapy rooms, consultation calls, classrooms, and boardrooms alike.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: when people feel safe, seen, and supported, real transformation becomes possible.

MY STORY
My Path to This Work
My clinical career began in 2015, working with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities and autism. Over time, my work expanded into behavioral and mental health settings, where I supported individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, identity exploration, burnout, and life transitions.
I’ve always been drawn to the parts of people that feel misunderstood—the stories that live beneath the surface, the patterns shaped by survival, culture, and unspoken expectations. The deeper I went into individual healing work, the clearer something became: healing cannot stop at the personal level. It has to extend into the systems, workplaces, and environments we spend our lives in.
That realization led to the expansion of my work beyond the therapy room—and ultimately to the creation of LNI Consulting.
How I Work
-
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in trauma-informed care. My clinical work integrates modalities such as EMDR, Brainspotting, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), alongside nervous system regulation and energy-based healing practices, including Reiki, for those seeking deeper mind–body integration.
I work with individuals who are ready to go deeper—clients seeking transformational healing rather than surface-level coping. This includes offering therapy intensives, which allow for focused, immersive work beyond traditional weekly sessions. Intensives are especially supportive for those navigating stuck points, major transitions, or needing concentrated trauma processing without long-term weekly commitments.
At the same time, I support clinicians who are ready to grow their confidence, clarity, and clinical voice—moving beyond rigid models and into more attuned, embodied practice.
Whether you’re a client seeking meaningful healing or a clinician ready to refine your craft, my work is grounded in depth, presence, and intentional care.
-
One of the most fulfilling parts of my work is walking alongside other clinicians.
I offer clinical supervision for pre-licensed therapists pursuing their LCSW, as well as consultation for licensed clinicians seeking support with EMDR, Brainspotting, trauma-informed care, and identity-centered clinical work.
I don’t believe in cookie-cutter supervision or rigid hierarchy. Our work together is collaborative, reflective, and rooted in cultural humility. You can expect honest conversations, thoughtful case exploration, and support in developing your own clinical voice—not simply following a model, but understanding how to use it with integrity and confidence.
-
Through LNI Consulting, I work with organizations, schools, nonprofits, and small businesses to bring trauma-informed, culturally conscious, and nervous-system-aware practices into leadership and workplace culture.
My consulting and training work bridges clinical insight with real-world application—helping leaders understand what’s happening within their teams so they can better navigate what’s happening around them.

-
Whether I’m working one-on-one, leading a training, or consulting with leadership teams, I lead with compassion, clarity, and cultural awareness.
I believe healing should feel real—not rigid. Growth doesn’t require perfection—just presence and practice. I’m not here to fix people. I’m here to walk alongside them, offering the kind of care and guidance I wish more of us had access to growing up.
At the core of everything I do is this belief:
We cannot change what we do not understand.
When people understand their stress responses, emotional patterns, and nervous system cues, they can respond more intentionally—to themselves, to others, and to the environments they shape.
